About Us

Welcome!

Welcome to Little Eyes Daycare! We cherish you and your child! Here you will find information about our current staff, a little about how we were founded, our mission statement, and our programs we offer. We encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Our Story

With Wytheville and the surrounding areas being very fast growing communities, our owner and founder Amanda Brewer-Lord, felt the great need for dependable child care for our families. So while still owning, operating, and practicing at Wythe Eye Associates, she decided to take it upon herself to open what we know as Little Eyes Daycare. Dr. Brewer-Lord knew for certain that she wanted a childcare facility that focused on, not only education, but teaching children kindness and integrity.  And that is exactly what Little Eyes Daycare is all about.

We strive to make all employees, families, and children feel safe, welcomed, and enjoy themselves in and outside of our daycare. Dr. Brewer-Lord also went above and beyond to make this daycare a Licensed Child Care Facility. Which means we are certified by the state of Virginia to have the ability to create a learning and enjoyable daycare for Wytheville and the surrounding areas.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to nurture the education and imagination of children in a home away from their home atmosphere. Each child will feel safe, happy, and engaged with our staff and with their peers. We provide a warm, enriching, child-centered learning environment with a high range of materials including developmentally appropriate activities. We strive to foster a child’s cognitive, emotional, social and physical growth as well as self-actualization.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is to play, learn, laugh and grow together. Our play based learning lays the foundation to create children who are lifelong learners. We believe the first years of a child’s life are the heart of a child’s educational, social and emotional development. Our facility provides a comfortable and enjoyable environment for children to thrive for their future in our beloved community.

Helping Your Child Explore, Grow, & Learn

Our whole mission at Little Eyes Daycare is to help blossom and exceed your child’s developmental and educational milestones. We offer a variety of enriching activities to help create your child’s experience at our daycare as meaningful as possible. From crafting, story telling, imagination stations, structured play, sensory projects and more. We are certain children will thrive in our classrooms and prepare them for their future in the world.
